Effective May 1, 2013 USDA/GIPSA completed its shift to the UGMA technology for offical moisture determinations for all grains. As of May 1, 2013 the DICKEY-john ® GAC 2100 will no longer be used for "official" grading. USDA/GIPSA developed and has now implemented this new technology to improve accuracy and consistancy in moisture measurement for the U.S. grain industry. Read more
